About the Project
The Assistive Writing Tool is designed for individuals with hand conditions like Essential Tremor, Parkinson's Disease, or Osteoarthritis, which impair writing skills. It allows users to rely on larger wrist movements for better control over pen strokes, eliminating the need for precise finger adjustments. After multiple iterations and rigorous testing due to its unconventional design, the tool features a swappable magnetic rail slot mechanism, enabling easy switching between pens of varying diameters, such as large markers or small pencils.
